  It's the same story here as at any other dentist- you always have to ask the key question- "Is this covered by my insurance?" Most dentist offices are like Midas Muffler or Jiffy Lube- it's all about the up-sell, i.e., getting you to buy more services and/or products than you need. In my case it was a supplemental fluoride treatment. My insurance covered it- but only for patients up to age 19. Why? **Because the treatment is of little value for anyone older than that.** I'm sure they knew that but I didn't so I got suckered. What will you get suckered into buying?
